Welcome to Chaparral RoundUp

High Chaparral devoted fans, good friends, and those new to the show are welcome to join us for a wonderful get together to have fun -October 1 through October 3 in Tucson AZ.

High Chaparral is called by many reviewers and fans as “A Real Western”. The realistic multi-ethnic mix of the cast plays true to Arizona in the 1870s -- whites, Mexicans, Apaches and Buffalo Soldiers. The adults' 'back stories' are compelling. The family dynamics are involved; never boring. Superb acting, awesome writing, great storylines, characters that had a sense of humor. The High Chaparral' debuted back in 1967 and lasted until 1971. Fans throughout the world continue to not only love it they still watch it as if it were new.

Susan McCray, wife of Kent McCray the Production Manager and true producer of the show, worked in the casting, and production offices for the show. Susan will be hosting this get together in Tucson - It includes a show highlighting the life and career of dear friend, Don Collier, who was 'Sam Butler' on the show. There will be entertainment Q&A panel -and much more.
